Pasta with Vodka Sauce

Total
time to make is about 30 minutes. Pasta with Vodka sauce is a tasty pink
sauce (marinara and cream) that is unique and fairly easy to make. The
thing that takes longest is boiling the water for the noodles. This vegetarian
dish will be appreciated by all who try it!
- 1.5 boxes of Spinach/egg Fettuccini
Florentine Style
- 2 quarts of chunky style spaghetti
sauce. Classico Sun dried tomato works well, as does any other chucky
flavored sauce.
- 1/2 cup of Vodka (cheap Vodka works fine for a
food recipe)
- 1 cup light cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt & couple dashes of
pepper
- couple dashes of Cayan pepper
- Start bringing water to a boil for
noodles, this takes the longest amount of time. Add a little vegetable oil
and a teaspoon of salt to the water.
- In a medium/large sized pot add the sauces, vodka, cream, cheese parsley,
salt, pepper and cayan. Heat over medium heat so that cheese and cream
does not burn in pot.
- Once cheese has melted into sauce, continue heating until noodles are
ready. Taste sauce with spoon and add more salt if necessary. Also,
you may want to add more cayan pepper, depending on your threshold.
"A couple dashes" is a pretty mild amount for the amount of sauce, but
test first, then add more if you need it.
- Drain noodles (when ready) and add them back to pot, along with a
couple ladles of sauce so that noodles do not stick together.
- Enjoy!
Once ready, serve generous amounts of sauce over
noodles on a plate.
Makes 4-6 servings.
