CODEMASTERS - E3 2002
Codemasters had a small booth
that was sealed off to media only. They had a handful of marginal
looking games, but I had fun with the Tyson game. I didn't really
study Colin McRae Rally 3 too much, but what I saw looked typical for an X-box racing game, but the terrain actually was a little plain looking.

Mike Tyson Boxing
- Unlike the NES title over 15 years ago, this game actually
features real looking boxers. Tyson is the only 'big hitter'
that you've probably heard of, but the game does feature a cast of
real boxers. The face and bodies show damage as the match
progresses, adding some brutal realism to the game. While a
little complex, the controls were surprisingly easy to pick
up. I challenged the designer to a game and lost the first
one, and somehow pulled off some good combos and beat him in the
second game. hehe! You could see a little frustration on
his face! This is the first boxing game I've seen in a long
time that has a quality control system and more importantly, is fun
to play. Coming really soon for both PS2 and X-box.
