CAPCOM - E3 2000
Capcom is one of the most consistent
game developers the industry has ever had. Every year they continue
to produce quality titles that have strong fan following. With some
interesting new titles to show and some rock solid sequels, this year was
no different. The only complaint I would have with the Capcom E3
booth was the barf worthy entertainment. The same annoying guy
Capcom hired last year was at the show distracting people that were there
to see games. Hopefully Capcom will do something original next year
for entertainment.

Power Stone 2
- Building on their success of the
original Power Stone game for the Sega Dreamcast is Powerstone
2. Capcom is not changing the formula too much, but gamers
will get more of what made the first game so good. Some major improvements
include 4 player simultaneous fighting, tons of items and weapons to
use, vehicles, 4 new characters,2 new bosses, and the ability to
combine attacks against bosses. Power Stone 2 isn't as
dramatic when we first saw Power Stone 1, but it certainly
looks fun and it will not be a disappointment to fighting game fans. |

Street
Fighter EX 3 - Looking
fantastic for the PSX 2 is Street Fighter EX3. While
the PSX 2 hardware does not seem to match the hype it has received,
this and many other games will not disappoint fans at
all. Compared to the EX games on the PSX, this
version blows them away. The characters look very
realistic and their is no evidence of polygons... the
fighters are very smooth looking and have excellent
animation. New features allow you do dish out double
damage with 2 characters at the same time. 1
additional character was added to the lineup as well as
several other nifty enhancements. While not
revolutionary, SF EX3 does have classic gameplay and great
graphics.
