Gaming bio:
I was one of those kids
that didn't have his own Atari, but could be found at a friends house
playing it after school on many occasions. Maybe the deprivation
of not having a system at home fueled my passion when I finally got my
own Nintendo 8-bit. Anyway, over a decade later, here I am,
still loving my games, and enjoying an industry that has grown to
equal (and soon surpass) the movie industry (in revenue).
Although I tend to lean favorably toward Real Time Strategy games, my
roots began with myriad of action and adventure titles. I think
the game industry is an incredibly fast paced environment, and one
that is getting extremely exciting. Look at how far games
have come, with the advent of 3D acceleration and fast processors, we
are moving toward a future that will try and mimic reality, and in the
not-too-distant future, we will surely see these advances in the
graphic realm. While the graphic advances are awesome, the
best ones will be the ones that incorporate playability and artificial
intelligence advances. I write my reviews out of the continued
passion for games, and hope to be having just as much fun with games
in the many years to come.
